Happy double "COLD" Day!

We are ALMOST back! I had a wonderful and refreshing break and I am so excited to get back into gear with my brilliant second graders! We have A LOT coming up in the next month and a half. Below is a breakdown of our plan for the next few weeks.

January 8-10
Minute to Win it Assembly (Wednesday)
New Year week (class actvities)
Start unit on Money
1:35 dismissal on January 8th
Unit 7 Fundations Test (Friday)
Begin small group Music Concert practice

January 13-17
HAWAII WEEK (our class is attempting to bring the warm weather to Pec)
Carrie Lynn Presentation (Wednesday)
All School Math Game Rotation (Friday)
Unit 7 Fundations test (Tuesday)
11:05 dismissal on January 17th
Begin Unit 8 in Fundations
Start money unit

January 20-24
MLK Jr. Day (no school on Monday)
Start Fairy Tale unit
Sing Star Spangled Banner at Pec basketball game (Friday night)
MAP testing
Unit 8 Check up (Friday)

January 27-31
Begin whole group Music Concert practices
Unit 8 test (Wednesday)?

February 3-7
100th day! (Tuesday)
1:35 dismissal on February 5th
Begin Unit 9 in Fundations

February 10-14
Perform for the Elementary School (Monday)
Practice for concert at the High School (Tuesday)
MUSIC CONCERT at the HIGH SCHOOL (TUESDAY NIGHT)
Valentine's Day Party (Friday)

I spent a lot of time planning over break and I will add to this as time goes on.  I'll copy and paste this into future posts, so don't feel like you have to memorize anything!
