Energy Fair

Last week we were invited to the Energy Fair at the middle school. The kids had a great time!

Twin/Look Alike Day!

Today is our 5th PARCC test! We have two more after this. Here are some pictures from our twin/look alike day.

Mrs. Anderson was kind enough to organize a visit from Moo, the only therapy goat in Illinois. The kids had a lot of good questions and enjoyed their time with him.

Cimino's and Escape the Classroom

Friday was a fun day for us. We finagled with our schedule so we could join 97ZOK and the rest of the fourth graders at Cimino's. I sent the video of them singing to you all through Remind. They did a great job and had a lot of fun. Then, we ran back to school to PARCC test. 3 down, 4 to go. After testing, Mrs. Brandenburg came and did an Escape the Classroom with everyone. It was a lot of fun. Some teams worked really well together and escaped and others struggled but, still did an awesome job!

Dress for Success

Winner Winner Winner!

We have had a lot to celebrate in our classroom over the last week. The class did NCAA brackets before break and today we tallied up points and we had a tie... Payton and Anthony! Anthony had an overall great bracket and Payton did great as well and chose North Carolina to take it all. Alexia chose North Carolina as well but, the rest of her bracket wasn't pretty! Good job guys!

We also had a SuccessMaker growth challenge end before break and we had more kids make it this time than last month. AWESOME!

Finally... we had another tie for our star cookie student... Mack and Carson! Way to go!
