Pacers

I am so proud of all of my Pec Pacers this year. They all did a lot of miles.  Mack took the prize for most miles in 4th grade by a boy.  He did 34 miles this season! WAY TO GO!

Pet Worms?

Yesterday, we had another Agriculture in the Classroom experience.  We learned about what goes into soil and how more or less of each part changes how to tend to it.  We also got make a worm habitat and take a worm pet home.  I am sure you all loved that! :)

Nests

On Wednesday, we took some time to complete an experiment that allowed us to make a bird's next.  We talked about all of the adaptations a bird has to make to their nest based on where they live.  The kids took time on their Chromes to look up different types of nests and what they can use to make them.  Then, we went out hunting for things to use and constructed our nests.  It was so much fun!

Busy Few Days!

Here are some pictures from a few special days we had.  Last Thursday, we learned about pollinators. Today, we had bus safety and fire safety.

These three lucky kiddos won the pumpkin contest for the month!
