This year we will be doing a lot of exciting things in 4th grade. I will be using two main apps to give you information about what is happening in our classroom. The two apps are Remind and Class DOJO.

Remind
This app I will be using to send our a quick reminder about something that is happening in our class. It could be a reminder their is an early release day, or we have something special the next day in class. This will come straight to your phone as a text message.

Class DOJO
 I am trying it out because it seems to have a lot of great features to it. This app I will be using to send pictures of things that are happening in our classroom. Your child has a specific code that you will need to use to link yourself to our classroom. Your child or myself can then send a picture to just you about something exciting. Their is also a behavior part to this app. I am not sure how much I will use this part, but if I do you will also be able to see why your child got points for. You have received your child's code already, but if you need it again please let me know and I will send it to you.

Addison was the winner of the December Behavior Cookie. She was voted on by her peers! Awesome Job Addison!

STEM

We are going to be doing a lot more hands on STEM activities in our room this semester. We started out with a really simple one where the kids had to work together in groups to create the tallest tower using only index cards. They struggled with finding ideas that worked and keeping their towers up until time was up. It was a lot of fun! We are doing another one on Friday!
