Dancing and Measurement

Yesterday we had an awesome assembly to celebrate winning the National Blue Ribbon Award.  The kids were so excited! I am incredibly grateful that I get to work in such an amazing school within an even more amazing community.

We also started measurement this week.  The kids seem to love it way more than any other math subject.  We have been focusing on the word, "about." We are not saying 23 and 3/4 cm or 1 and 3/4 m.  We want to focus on "about" how long.  Here are some pictures from the last two days!
