Adopt a Pumpkin

Yesterday your students adopted a pet pumpkin! Make sure you read the orange note that came home yesterday.  It will explain the responsibility that your son or daughter has taken on for the week.  Yesterday was my favorite day of the year, so far! We are having a great time with this project!

This was our Adopt a Pumpkin Patch!

We talked about the many ways to choose a pumpkin pet. 

Everyone got their pet! 

Isaiah chose his because it had freckles, just like him! 

We wrote a letter to our pumpkins telling them why we chose them and what we had planned for the week. 

We dressed our pumpkins up and gave them a bedroom. 

When they are at school, the pumpkin pets go to a daycare to play together!
