First Week of Second Grade...CHECK!

I am loving every single one of your kids! They are so different and so much fun. We have done a LOT this week and I am betting that they are exhausted (I sure am)! Next week, we will begin our regular schedule, with the exception of MAP testing.  I sent home the newsletter today and homework will go home on Monday.  

Thank you to everyone that sent back their green and pink sheets.  I have enjoyed learning about your student.  It is so helpful to have background about them.  They are pretty much brand new to me and I love knowing as much as I can about them.

We dressed up, received awards, walked the red carpet and starred in a movie! All kids received a DVD to take home and an award special to them. Here are our glamorous photos...

Almost the End!

This week will fly by! We are incredibly busy this last week and I am already missing these crazy kiddos. Here is the lowdown on our week...

 Tuesday and Wednesday- You be the Teacher lessons

Wednesday- Planting in the school garden, last reading buddies

Thursday- our FANCY day! I will be giving out awards and we are watching our DVD. Also, we are watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Friday- LAST DAY! Sumner Park day (Please let me know if you can donate to our picnic)

ALL WEEK- Cleaning, organizing and tearing down our classroom!
