Daily 5- We have been writing to a Disney character this week. I will send the letters out early next week and hopefully we will receive a response soon!
Chromebook Wednesday- The kids had a task card and they needed to complete during the morning. They did a great job. They can make copies of documents, chat, email, and complete tasks outside of Google independently.
Math- We are finishing up our Place Value unit. The test will be tomorrow. Next week, we will begin the fourth unit and it's a LONG one. This unit has gone really well and I hope to see that reflected on the assessment.
Fundations- Test tomorrow on unit 10 and then we begin our next double vowel unit on the /e/ sound.
Shared Reading- We have been reading Geronimo Stilton and working on retell and vocabulary. The kids seem to love it and it's been a lot of fun!
Writing- We begin our informational writing this week. The kids were given 2 planets to define using dictionary.com. Very soon, they will choose one of them to research further.
Next week- We are learning all about HAWAII! Many of our daily activities will focus around the state. It'll be a blast!
